The PresentMe API Agent

Code Less. Create More. Let the AI do the heavy lifting.

 The Overview

Are you ready to experience the future of automation? In this challenge, we are ditching manual slide design and tedious boilerplate coding. Your mission is to harness the power of the PresentMe API Agent to build a complete presentation project using nothing but natural language prompts.

You don't need to be a Python expert to win—you just need to be an expert prompter.

The Goal

Use the PresentMe API Assistant (our Chatbot) to write a script for you that generates a full presentation. Your goal is to see how complex, creative, or useful a presentation you can build by simply talking to the documentation.

How to Participate

Follow these 4 simple steps to enter:

1. Get Your Access
Sign up at PresentMe App and navigate to your Account Settings. Generate your secret API Key.

2. Talk to the Agent
Go to the API Documentation Page. Open the chat widget (bottom right or "Assistant" tab).

3. The "Prompt Engineering"
Ask the Agent to write code for you. Be specific!

  • Basic: "Write a Python script using my API key to create a presentation about 'The History of Bread'."

  • Advanced: "Write a Python script that creates a 10-slide deck for a Series A pitch deck on a FinTech startup. Target an investor audience with a professional tone."

4. Execute & Submit
Copy the code the Agent gives you, run it locally (or in a notebook), and capture the Presentation Link it generates.

Requirements

To successfully complete this challenge, you must submit a project on Devpost that includes the following:

1. Proof of Agent Interaction (Required)

  • Images/Screenshots: You must upload images showing the Agent screen. We want to see the prompt you used and the Agent responding to you.

2. The Source Code (Required)

  • Code Upload: Submit the source code generated by the Agent (you can upload this as a ZIP file or provide a link to a GitHub repository).

  • ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Do NOT include your private API Key in the source code. Please redact or remove any keys before submitting.

3. Project Description

A brief explanation of what presentation you asked the Agent to create and how accurate the result was.
